Recently we have had quite a few emails etc asking how things were progressing with our *stalker* problem, so I decided that for now we would use this page for up dates etc.

Firstly though I would like to thank His Honour Judge Vincent, our Solicitor Lisa Robinson of CVC solicitors Penzance and the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary especially, PC Ross Windsor, PC Johns, PC Derek Bridges and the rest of the Helston boys. Thanks also to our friends and supporters who have been fantastic with their support and understanding at this challenging time.

As most of you will know we have been having problems with an ex student of ours Miss Rebbecca Hardy. I have no problem with Miss Hardy really but I had to stand back from working with her and the friendship that we had because basically I was not able to give the time, nor did I have the experience to deal with her problems which were made worse by her Bipolar disorder. Miss Hardy has had a really difficult life, especially during childhood and I fully understand the problems that these have caused her.

To start with my hopes and intentions were that I would be able to help her develop spiritually and maybe help her find some peace and healing. But sadly I found myself completely out of my depth and became exhausted in trying. The intensity of our connection was taking a toll on my personal life and Spiritual work so reluctantly I had to step away from the situation and it was from then that the problems started. Miss Hardy found it impossible to understand why I could no longer mentor her. I am not a doctor or even a spiritual healer and just didn't have the knowledge of how to help her.

Most of you will know about the ensuing problems which I wont go into because I don't want to cause Miss Hardy or her family any embarrassment. But My solicitor and Helston police hold vast numbers of various types of correspondence ranging from blatantly threatening to the obscene etc etc.

To cut a long story short a harrasment order was served which prevented Miss Hardy from coming into the villiage where I and my family live and from contacting or conversing with any of us at any time. This will remain in order until the end of this Summer after which it will be renewed if things haven't improved.

Over the last few months Miss Hardy has broken the order and was recently awarded a 28 day suspended prison sentence. Again she compromised the order and I had to attend court with my solicitor as a prelude to the committal order being served. On that occasion I asked Judge Vincent that the order be stayed to give Miss Hardy a little longer to sort herself out and that is how things are at the moment.

I have recently heard that Miss Hardy now intends to go overseas and says that she will start a hate campaign against me and try to discredit my work by use of the Internet and making allegations to the press etc.

I really do feel sad that she doesn't seem to be able to find peace in her life, but there is nothing more that I can do. I have not made public the multiple letters, email & text that I have received but should she do any of the above I will consider making them public.

As most of you will know I have practiced Zen for most of my life and I am familiar with practicing acceptance. There is nothing I can do to prevent Miss Hardy from spreading whatever stories she wants etc. But Richard and I have a ten year international record and thousands of supporters and I feel sure that our integrity and sincerity stands as a measure of the Spiritual Work that we do and shall continue to do until as Richard says I "fall off the perch."

Life is about learning and from this I have learned that you cannot help everybody.
I hope Miss Hardy has learnt too, maybe that you can't make someone stay with you by using blackmail and threats. Friendship comes from respect, that's the rule I think.

So we will face whatever comes our way and as ever keep going forward no matter what. It's the nature of the beast.
